Yahoo将使用Jumpcut作为视频在线编辑服务

从Jumpcut的博客中可以看出，Yahoo已经将在视频在线编辑中具有领先技术的Jumpcut.com收归旗下。这是继将增强Yahoo在视频及其视频搜索服务上的竞争力。
Jumpcut.com是由美国风险企业MiraVida Media公司于今年5月创建。Jumpcut是基于运用现已被广泛应用于网站的“Flash”技术的Web应用的视频编辑系统，它不同以往的的一些多媒体上传社区，其目的是为用户提供一种可轻松实现下述目标的平台：可供包括文件上传者自身和第三方在内的众多人群轻松对视频文件进行编辑。用户除了可以对视频短片进行编辑，如设置文字、图片效果，还可以导入其他用户制作的视频文件，并对视频进行特效处理。
