默认情况下，SYBYL帮助文件Tripos Bookshelf 的内置搜索引擎是关闭的。如果需要开启Tripos Bookshelf Search Engine，需进行如下操作：
首先，开启SYBYL环境
在终端中运行如下命令：

trigo -shell sybyl8.0

（其中sybyl8.0为对应的版本号）

然后再开启Tripos Bookshelf Search Engine
进入到Tripos Bookshelf所在目录，如/home/user/software/sybyl8.0/TriposBookshelf，在该目录中打开终端，运行如下命令：

./tripostbs.sh -up

若出现如下提示表明Tripos Bookshelf 内置搜索引擎已成功启动：
Checking that the Tripos Bookshelf web server is not already
running on another machine...

This is the main port used by the Tripos Bookshelf web server: 5080
Here are other ports also used by the web server: 5020, 5081
Checking port availability on localhost.localdomain...

Starting file configuration:
1. Configuring the TBS search engine index file.
This will take a few moments...
2. Configuring the remaining TBS configuration files...
3. Configuring the HTML search windows...
Configuration complete!

Starting the Tripos Bookshelf web server...

Startup SUCCESSFUL!

In order to access the search engine, point your browser to:
http://localhost.localdomain:5080/TriposBookshelf/index.html

这时，再进入Tripos Bookshelf ，点击“Search”按钮即可看到期待已久的搜索框了。
